Seven Foot Frank is no ordinary acoustic Americana trio. They blend unconventional lyrical themes with the musical styles of America’s Depression and Prohibition eras, creating a parallel timeline in which the 1920’s never ended.
With solid grooves and strong vocals, their songs cover everything from ancient occultism and space travel to forgotten gods, alongside traditional tales of life’s struggles, moonshine and marine biology. Rooted in blues, old-time mountain music, ragtime, early jazz and popular tunes, their influences include Charlie Poole & the North Carolina Ramblers, Mississippi Jug Band, Tommy Jarrell, John Hartford, King Crimson, H.P. Lovecraft, Peter Watts, and many more.
They’ve performed at most bluegrass and Americana festivals in Sweden and Denmark, including Gränna Bluegrass Festival, Nääsville, Foxtail Festival, Korröfestivalen, and Växjö Roots. With over 70 concerts under their belt, they’ve become a powerful, tight-knit live band.
2021 saw the release of their debut vinyl album “The Worm Ouroboros” where they invited the listener into a dark and strange universe, telling tales of cosmic horror and old school futurism. Seven Foot Frank’s sophomore album (The Nine Dimensional Inverted Black Pyramid) is set to be released in September 2025, where they’re turning even more philosophical and experimental.
